We have returned from embracing materialist society complete with bad road food. We are better for it.

D: I was with Mr V when I photographed these two ceramic dragons. (many more like them along with green roof tiles) It took every bit of saffron thinking on my part, to keep one of them out of my back pack.

AH: Mr V is rather amused that he’s morphed into one of my characters. He’ll be most happy to know he has a fan base.

Margaret: Mass amounts of construction without acquiring building permits can be blamed for the resulting bad Karma the monastery currently finds itself experiencing. Poor dragon

yeah that place is spellbinding….
I only know I got way too hypnotized by that place, and I was not paying attention to my surroundings (signs, etc.), so i was lacking in mindfulness, ignorant of cause&effect & created my own suffering, as the buddhists say… BUT I found a lot of great buddhist resources & info which again makes me suspect this is all just a buddhist teaching exercise and we’re pawns in the universe’s game… you too Mr V
