Tash: You can still pick up a sandwich at Galco's. The packaging remains the same (which is kind of interesting) and of course a soda. I see that Police museum in movies and television often now. That and Suicide Bridge along with Santa Fe Ave. Those film sites make the rounds.

AH: Ok, confessional time here. I have the palate of a teenager. Did my Carver Caramels not make that clear? Then again Mr V liked his Blockbuster (won't touch the caramels) and he is a elitist. He also liked the soda for being subtle. I missed the corn.

PJ: Just last night discovered bad weather near you. Without a proper Antenna, pixel TV is pixel breakdown for me; and the car radio isn't working either. The storm is loosing power right?

Jones. I've seen it around. Great packaging and weird flavors; bubblegum...yum. I've got a bunch of diet Shasta blackcherry in the fridge. To repeat myself "palate of a teenager" milk chocolate for me. Loved those gold squares with the horse shoe on them.

Deepak: What is a favorite sandwich for you?

D: It must be. As a kid I remember people complaining about the flavor of coke when they visited Tijuana. I'm starting to become aware of how ubiquitous corn syrup truly is. Isn't there a film out there on this stuff? I'm kind of afraid to watch it ever since I saw a program that looked into the DNA of hamburger meat and discovered 350 different cows made up a pound.

Shanna: I can help you with this. I know where to go and I know how to fix them once there made digital.

It could be a fun project. Not a lot of dough involved and unfortunately the bureaucratic hoops tend to be the same whether the commission is small or large.

Margaret: I bet you did so compulsively and with great passion. Now did the event match your earnestness? Notice the use of "earnestness"? I watched House of Mirth with Jillian Anderson last night. I'm a sponge.

Since the demise of slides, I'm just not entering things. I think I need a tutor.
Gotta go. I see some clouds.

D, I know most people like some kind of cola but I just never have. It tastes just awful to me but you go ahead and enjoy yours, especially when buying it in a little bodega. I hope it was in an old fashioned bottle.

We heard that Coke bottled in Mexico is still made with cane sugar so we found a little bodega in the barrio and bought some (after our normal procrastination, of course). The clerk looked at us like we were crazy for being there. The procrastination thing seems to be getting worse as I grow old. But still like Coke.

We have Jones sodas, made with the cane, pure. I'm not big on soft drinks but when I have one leave the Coke in the can. Bleccch!
