Behind the green door lies Mr V’s inner sanctum. It’s by private invitation only (but you’ll get a peek). Instead we’ll began our tour starting at an “adjacent” studio we’ve been temporaraly renting. It’s been a gold mine of several “Trash Tuesday” cast offs. Now follow me as we journey towards Mr V’s holding tank of creative entrapment. On our left is the access door that leads to the roof top. On our right is the door to the freight elevator. I hope your enjoying the hallway. It’s painted a soothing shade of “Homeland Security” green. Now get ready to go behind the green door. Look! there’s Mr V finishing his lunch and listening to public radio. I must warn you….don’t talk to him; he’s a bear under pressure.
……….

Wow. Too cool, those glimpses of art. Love the palm tower (I have one in a poem…the signifier [!] of the freakology of LA).
These ain’t no eaved, Euro-lofts, eh?
I’ve longed thought you had an interiority complex.
I love your new interactive video. I’m having trouble choosing my avatar…maybe something with good glass…
Now I feel like Albert. “Oh, that’s super cool, throw it again, throw it again.
Well I hope we get a peak of Mr. V’s artwork!
(love the door, its the green you know…)
Congrats, PA! And, you’re welcome.
Very cool. Thanks for the peek at the work in progress.
………….
Linda: Thank you very much. It seems we both appreciate a well placed signifier.
No, this ain’t no dico and it ain’t no Paris of the west. You come here, you come to work.
CO: I have a superiority complex that takes an occasional dip into the inferiority realm. (Don’t thank me, thank wikapedia)
PJ: The next video coming up is even more interactive.
AH: Albert and the Tele-Tubbys have something in common…. again…… again……. again
Virginia: A peek is all anyone gets … Homeland Security green?
Jean: Glory be, the paintings are done. Water, fire, air, and ground are rolled up on tubes and headed west. Does that mean I’ll be documenting the activities? what do you think?
OK, a quick peak at a dalmation and a partial fireman, now I get it, classic firehouse dog scene. Your space looks great, large and what I would consider to be tidy. Like a good entertainer, you have left us wanting more,
Take Homeland Security green,
wrap it in a Prismacolor pencil,
and you have True Green (one of my favorite colors)
The murals on the video are FANTASTIC!!! Amazing colors and of course everything else. Double thx for the tour. They must be incredible to see in person.
D: classic or cliche? Thats “Wilshire” the liver spotted LAFD official mascot. Note to self “don’t put brown spotted dog in front of brown spotted landscape. and it’s under follow me links
Virginia: Gladly so, but it looks institutional in the context I experience it from.
Tash: I suspect that you will be the one person who goes out and sees them. More Westchester to come
I know, Green is one of the worst institutional colors (have you ever seen medical facilities with pea green walls? awful).
