Another “Masters at Work” Wee Video Production

.

Let me explain the “me” in “Wee Masters at Work”… you see, I pride myself in being a solution oriented professional. In order to get the desired shot of feeding birds I needed to create the proper camouflage. To that end I employed the use of my green bed spread. Like any self respecting wildlife cinematographer, I hid behind the blanket, lens dutifully focused on my subject.

And then all….H-E-Double L breaks loose

The photo below is the last frame of the second take. The bird came through unscathed.

Another discovery;  when I’m upset, not only is my voice piercingly shrill but also acquires a slight southern accent.

Trash Tuesday: Where Getting it Cheap is Part of the Esthetic #41

cocktails anyone?

cart_02

This Tuesday I’m treating my fellow trash tourists to a double feature.

Feature #1: Three plastic drinking glasses, each with a rather large fluid holding capacity. The glasses were left curbside on Ave 64 near the San Rafael branch Library. The cat with the missing tail and disintegrating ears? I put her into the shot for staging purposes. I’m a professional for Petes sake!

Feature #2: a chrome restaurant cart left next to the Dipsey Dumpster in the lower parking lot of Wells Fargo bank in South Pasadena. I envision using my cart for summer cocktail parties on the veranda (veranda sounds more pretentious then patio and I do pride myself on being pretentious).  What can I tell you? that’s a rhetorical question; (should Chef King Walter be keeping track of my flawed writing skills).

Did you notice the lovely Big Roo in full flower?  You might remember him in my God and Mr Gomez post. While your there, do yourself a favor and let Jack whistle for you.
