Where does this “most liberal record in the senate” phrase come from? I’ve heard it before, but I’d like to see it substantiated before I repeat it. Obama’s talk, his speeches, have been quite centrist. He has refused to support gay marriage, for example. So I’m curious (not contentious) on this one. C.O., can you point me to it?

Others who have ranked him among the more liberal- but not the #1- have been the ADA, & Voteview.com which is run by political scientists. P, please just do a search on the google 2 get the links.
When pols run for office, of course they suddenly try to change their stripes to get votes & money.
Barak Obama was against gay marriage being legalized you say? In the 8 debate I heard both sides use him to support their positions! When we can’t even get the truth or facts on important issues from our “leaders”, politicians, govt, well, it’s gonna result in 1 day this country facing big problems. I tried to find you a song but alas, all that the Orb of Tune would deliver were those of Megadeath, Ministry, Slayer, Judas Priest or the other end of the spectrum in angelic and saccharin. I simply could not bring myself to plaster Tony Orlando and Dawn or Helen Reddy’s Delta Dawn!

They do a “progressive score” based on left-leaning variables. Obama gets a current total score of 88.85 and ranked 27th out of 100, for example. I see a couple of you non “pretty picture bloggers” excluding Tash noticed my fine sunrise. Thank you. It’s looking east through the Monterey and San Rafael pass towards Saddleback Mountain in OC. I also grow mighty large Hollyhocks of a blood red hue and collect General Electric blue/red/green x-mas bulbs. These particular bulbs come from a time before GE moved it’s operations to Korea and started painting the outside of the bulbs rather then the inside.. The blues lean toward the ultra violet spectrum while contemporary lights favor aqua. I keep the cheap-os out year round.
D: So you did cut the rug. My need for sleep is caused by a cold, not hangover. I caught it on the (petri dish) keyboard last week in my illustrator class.
