If you’re an artist, you’re probably a scavenger. In my Pasadena Adjacent neighborhood, we put the bins out on Monday night. I consider this time sacred. It’s when those of us in the creative fields, head out to do a little “search and rescue”. Tuesday is reckoning day for the “unloved and undesired”. I propose dedicating Tuesday to the display of my curb side collectables. Consider yourself invited to join me “gentle reader”.
……….

Well, I don’t know. Your trash cans look awfully clean and tidy. Seems like a large item pick-up would offer more possibilities.
I “take in” not “put out”
I put out.
I get that. I’m just sayin’.
This idea may take awhile to catch on………..bummer
I have nothing against women who both take in & put out. They’re my fav type.
So, those funny looking people I see limping down the alleys with their carts late at nite or early in the morning are really creative people (grafitti & other artists, photogs, actors, etc.)! I have a new respect for their abilities.
I want to see what you find. I’ve been known to pinch the odd wicker table or terracotta planter. Or door.
L.O. If Jim Morrison were alive today, he’d be pushing a cart.
AH, photograph anyone of them and throw it up.
P.A., but I hear Morrisson is alive! You can find him hanging with Elvis.
Read it on sum blog sumwhere.
Mr. Morrison is alive in my bloomers.
Ewww. Mr. Morrison, get out of there immediately.
I retrieved a 1920′s era mica hanging lamp from my (former) neighbor’s trash can and got $100 cash for it from Old Pasadena Lighting. Don’t tell.
Score! what else ya got? Post it Tuesday
