Trash Tuesday #3: Where Getting it Cheap is Part of the Esthetic

tt_03

Tash over at Palos Verdes daily photo recently turned 50 and what better symbol of longevity then the tree. Trees are beautiful and their advancing years are associated with knowlege.  They’re worshipped in some cultures celebrated  for their nourishing fruits, their protecting shade and for the fuel they provide the flame. Get it?.  That’s an example of “Committee Speak” cue in the heavy symbolism, justify, justify, justify. The reality is we just like them! and when we find them in parking lots and gutters “across this great nation of ours”, We’ve got to pick them up, and take them home, and put them in a drawer.

Press the BUTTON and Run Children, Run!

Oscar comes in many manifestations. Some swear he’s a Grouper, others a dead dog buried on the isle of Catalina.  I say he’s gone mobile and in the dead of night, prepares a campaign to seduce children in a land where Palms are kept to a minimum.  He also has a butt.

Fear not for your concerns are within earshot of Altadena Hiker who will not be intimidated by the threat of a “even better beefier and juicier” dog.

See the snail wrapped up in curls?

Look! An oyster wearing pearls!

Watch the octopus oh so dark,

But don’t you dare to pet the shark!
