Life Lived on the Edge of Pasadena

Month: August, 2008

Remember When Los Angeles Was the Mural Capital Of the World?

I’m hazarding a guess here, but I think this drop of honey survives in tact because it sits outside the bounds of bureaucracy.  It was painted over ten years ago by the students of San Pascual Avenue Elementary School.  It gets hit plenty, but it also gets patched up.  O.K., clumsily, but they’re kids, go kids!

Palm Axis: Research and Development

I’ve been informed that this edge of Pasadena facility is one of the locations Palm Axis chooses for research and development (but not demonstration).  Notice the lack of patrons?  Palm Axis likes it that way.  All interested parties will be informed when the demonstration stage is reached.
